How do I get my artwork ready to send?
When sending your artwork to us here at Clever Promotional Products, we require VECTOR artwork as a PDF or EPS file. We use Corel Draw as our primary design software. This means that files such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc., are not compatible with our software. Please export your artwork before sending it to us. If VECTOR is not possible, please provide your highest quality/resolution image for us to work with.
For all items with custom artwork, please use our templates (provided below) to ensure the final product meets your expectations. Your bleed should reach the BLUE outline, the PINK outline is the actual outline of the product, and the YELLOW outline is your safe work area – all text and logos should be within the YELLOW area (some templates also have BLACK lines to indicate folds, you can remove these or leave them and we will remove them).
If you are not experienced with graphic design, or the software used to create your artwork, or are unable to provide VECTOR artwork, please contact us and we will work with you to create your artwork.
Please note: If your artwork contains text, please convert this text to curves before exporting and sending it to us. This way if we do not have the specific font installed the text will still remain as you have designed it.
What's next?
We will send you a final artwork to verify we call “proof”, please check this THOROUGHLY. Things you will need to check vary from product to product but usually include size, quantity, colours, spelling. There are aspects to your product that you may see a mistake in, which we may not, for example the spelling of a name, or an email address or phone number.
We require this proof to be signed and sent back to us before we can move on to production.
